What to Expect During a Baby Milestone Photography Session
A baby milestone photography session with Limoo typically lasts approximately one hour+, depending on the age and temperament of the baby. The session takes place in our studio and we have several outfits, crowns, bonnets, hats and other accessories for you to choose from. Of course, you are most welcome to bring your own favorite outfits for baby to wear during their time in front of the lens.
In Limoo’s studio you’ll find a vast selection of backgrounds and props. Rest assured we are experts at putting together sets that you will love, based on your aesthetic preferences. There’s something in there for every complexion and every personality! And all will be assembled so they complement and keep the focus on the star of the day!
During the session, we will capture a variety of shots of your baby, including close-ups, full-body shots, and shots of the baby with you, siblings or other family members.
When to Schedule a Baby Milestone Photography Session
The best time to begin scheduling your baby’s milestone sessions is when your baby is able to hold up their neck during tummy time. (Usually around 3-4 months old). After this age, we can schedule a baby photography session at any time up until your baby is one year old.
The typical milestone stages are: 4 months, 6 months & 9 months marks. At around 4 to 6 months babies become more interactive. They enjoy tummy time and roll over on their own, they start using their hands a lot to grab and clap and they also start laughing. From 6 to 9 months, you may expect lots of babbling, crawling and standing by themselves.
